Well he's a bit dull and drab and has probably had a hard life, but someone in Comunanza loves him and he has it's very likely that he has got quite a few miles left in him yet!

This black and yellow ape was spotted out late one night whilst at a festa.

Not sure what Veil Side is but like the cow head logo together with the Ferrari badge!

A Stranger in the Pack!

Well we were visiting the UK and came across a foreigner!

The ape is a fantastic role model. Hard working, tidy, clean and always on the go.

He really does know how to attract the crowds.

Wonder if he wants a holiday to Italy?

Party Ape

Well this one is certainly having a lot of fun.

Heading the Carnevale in Amandola the other week and joining in the celebrations.

Lets just hope it makes it up to the top of the hill!

Flourescent Ferrari Dragon

Well he is a bit of a mixture - flourescent paintwork, ferrari stickers, yellow dragons and (not sure if you can spot these in the photo), bright blue headlights which really compliment the rest of his bodywork!

Rossi's Next Ride

Number 46, despite being found deep in the woods near Gerosa Lake, looks in very good condition.

We can just imagine Valentino Rossi tearing round the track in him, can't you?

Ghost Busters

Ape's are very very adaptable and can bee used for fun as well as work.

This little white chap was spotted joining in the festivities at the Carnevale in Comunanza last February.

Complete with ghosts and ghostbusting equipment, he would be very useful now too as Halloween is fast aproaching.

The Worker Bee

Ape's are such hard workers and they come in really handy at harvest time.

This kharki character was spotted whilst we were pressing our olives. Laden high with heavy baskets of olives, he is hard working and trudges on no matter what you throw at him.

I'm On Fire

Spotted at the fantastic chestnut festival at Smerillo last week, 'I'm On Fire' is a snazzy little fellow.

Black and red with the Ferrari prancing horse, the spoiler looks great and really does help it stick to the road in case one of our wicked storms suddenly whip up!

Happy Ape

On our first visit to wonderful Le Marche exactly 8 years ago, we came across these little chaps.....

On enquiring further, we found out that the little 'apes' as they are called or 'bees', are used by young an old alike round this neck of the woods.

From 14 year olds tearing (if you can tear in an ape) round our counrty lanes, to the granpas returning back from the weekly market, with the back laden with goodies and the front stuffed full of grandma.

Youngesters spend all their time and pocket money souping up their apes - from flashing headlights which change from red to blue to green, to spoilers that wouldn't look out of place on a formula 1 car.

Well this is our aim - to photograph as many of Amandola and Comunanza's little 'bees' as we can.
